About Me
My name is Sean Pauly, and my journey of creativity and innovation began in 2018 when, at just 12 years old,
I dove into software development and game design. Driven by a deep passion for technology and storytelling,
I created projects like Movi3moji, a platform aspiring to rival Rotten Tomatoes, and innovative games like
Magic 101 and Soccer Ace—a unique blend of golf and soccer that reflected my love for combining the unexpected.
In middle school, I was introduced to the concept of STEM through a class aptly named Innovations.
It was here that my passion for technology and innovation truly blossomed. From block-based coding to 3D printing and circuitry,
I gained foundational skills that opened my mind to endless possibilities. During this time, I developed Soccer Ace,
a game inspired by a remix of another project. In Soccer Ace, players shot a soccer ball into a goal in the style of a mini-golf video game.
The project earned me an invitation to present at a local tech conference, a pivotal moment that deepened my passion for creation and problem-solving.
Soccer has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, shaping my discipline and teamwork—qualities that translate into every aspect of my life.
In high school, my path took an exciting turn when I joined the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) club just for fun.
Little did I know, it would unlock my passion for entrepreneurship and business. I quickly became involved, serving as Vice President of Membership,
running for State Office, and eventually leading my chapter as President. These experiences nurtured my leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
Alongside FBLA, I explored other interests. A Biomedical Sciences class introduced me to my second passion—medicine.
This hands-on class allowed me to learn about the intricacies of the human body and sparked an interest I hadn't expected.
At the same time, a computer science class in my freshman year introduced me to text-based coding, adding another dimension to my technical skills.
Over the years, I continued to challenge myself, taking Aerospace Engineering and Medical Interventions courses, which further expanded my horizons.
Senior year was a turning point. College decisions loomed, and I had incredible options: Missouri S&T for its accelerated MBA program,
Missouri State for its nationally recognized business school, and even Hawaii Pacific University, where I dreamed of walking on to play soccer.
Everyone, including me, assumed I would study Business, Engineering, or Computer Science. However, my passion for soccer remained unwavering.
In spring, I received an email from the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (UHSP) Men's Soccer Coach.
Desperate to continue my athletic journey, I discovered UHSP wasn't just an opportunity for soccer—it was a top-tier academic institution
producing some of the nation's best pharmacists and medical professionals. For the first time, I began to seriously consider a career in medicine.
Falling in love with the school both athletically and academically, I decided to pursue this new path. Signing that contract was more than a commitment to soccer;
it was a commitment to growth and embracing new challenges.
Fast forward to 2025, at 19, I plan to intertwine my passions for Science, Technology, Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, and Innovation through
CIARAN Industries. By bringing these disciplines together, my mission is to create groundbreaking solutions that inspire life-changing
innovations and research for a better humanity and a brighter future for all.
